Hm, don't you think this way too?

Ugh, this server has roughly about 3150 members registered in the forum.
Hm.. there's only 6 or 7 online.
How come?
Well, even if I wasn't here during the GM application was opened, I betcha that during that period was the time when people were most active in forums or even in games.
Yeah, that's the reason.
People want to be a GM and they just leave if they don't get choosen, and then hit another server for GM.
That's the problem....
now that GM application is closed, about 30 guests that visit this site each day just look and leave this forum because the GM app section had been locked.

Now, here's the point...
I want to discuss with people of SnailMS ways to stop this GM wanna be madness.
For example, every 500 people, there can be 1 GM... therefore making the GM app section active all the time (which also makes guests to actually register and stay active for at least a while)... in that case, these registered guests will grow friendship with people of SnailMS during the period of 500 people, making them not wanting to leave this server and grow our community.
Do you get it? Lol.

Anyway, what's your idea?

Lol, well let those people choose what they want I guess. If they want to register and play, they will. They they want to leave, they can do so. But if "we" want people to stay, we probably have to make our server a bit more interesting, influence them. Maybe someone should make a trailer or some crap about SnailMS. Put some effects in, influence them, impress them. To show what SnailMS is like.

lol idk abt having GMs every 500 people as its not very...how to say...reasonable. some people earn their way to be a GM and some others are nominated. so if we HAVE to choose 1 GM out of 500 ppl its ridiculous. maybe one more cos i may be leaving if not inactive at this point of time. my CT1 is coming (important exam...20-30% of total i think) so yeah...and im playing original maple so really wont be online much as compared to last time. will be active on forums though so Andrew might wanna consider demoting me from GM position.

Lots of people sign on the forums, thinking it helps for GM position and SPAM, then see it doesn't do anything and leave forums and SnailMS a week later. There are around 40 active forumers and 70ish active players on the weekend during a 12 hour period.

I sorta agree with ShawtyLuv that makes since but let Andrew pick the number and like let him Pick the GM out of a bunch of apps that way people will actually try to do good in the community and help the server grow...
