Disconnecting right after I click on my character

Hey, so i just downloaded the v62 files and the SnailMS client. I logged on, made a character, clicked on the character, and then my screen freezes for about 15 seconds and then i dc and the screen returns to my desktop saying, "unable to connect to the login server, or you have been disconnected from the login server". How do i fix this? Thanks.
-I also downloaded the character.wz file that Andrew posted up in Downloads but it still disconnects after i click my character. Help please.
